Ocean Optics special eXstreme Solarization Resistant (XSR) fiber can withstand exposure to deep UV without suffering a loss of transmission, and it has transmission deeper into the UV (to 190nm) XSR fibers are highly reccomended for spectroscopic applications below 250nm. Premium-grade Assemblies have a silicone-coated steel monocoil jacketing with a Nomex braid for superior strain relief and protection. Assemblies are terminated with precision SMA 905 Connectors with extra-long ferrules for easy manipulation. Fibers are all silica, 0.22 na. Core diameters are available from 115 um to 600 um
