OCEAN-FX-UV-VIS WIFI enabled spectrometer 200-850nm




The Ocean Insight (aka Ocean Optics) FX-UV-VIS  spectrometer covers 200-850nm and comes with a 25um slit.

You can purchase additional slit sizes and install them yourself. The ES optional is a cylindrical lens on the detector that boosts signals when used with larger optical fiber diameters.

The Ocean FX is a versatile spectrometer with acquisition speed up to 4,500 scans per second, onboard processing for improved SNR and reduced data transfer time, and robust communications via USB, SPI, Gigabit Ethernet and Wi-Fi. Ocean FX is an excellent choice for high-speed process applications, measurement of fast events, and reaction monitoring.

The Ocean-FX-UV-VIS Wi-Fi spectrometer is available in application-ready, custom and OEM spectrometer configurations. The spectrometer can be integrated into other devices as a component, subassembly or turnkey solution.

Tech Tip:  Measuring the spectral power of lasers can be rendered inaccurate by systems with lower speed operation. This is because the amplifiers that invert and amplify the voltage signal from each pixel in sequence must be fast enough to respond to a change from near zero to a very high value at the laser wavelength. When the amplifiers are too slow (limited bandwidth) the time normalized spectra will be not be constant as you change integration times. As a result, power calibrations at a long integration period will be inaccurate for spectra of the laser obtained at short integrations.  The Ocean-FX does not display this artifact, and is the best unit amount the Ocean Optics product family for working with lasers or other narrow bandwidth light sources.
