Small footprint fiber optic, USB Ocean Optics (aka Ocean Insight) spectrometer features a cooled enhanced InGaAs 512 element detector array for spectroscopic measurements in the 900 – 2500nm wavelength region. The 25 micron slit yields optical resolutions on the order of 7nm FWHM Includes power supplies. We also offer a NIRQuest 512-2.2 NIR spectrometer that covers 900-2200 nm.

Tech Tip   The upper end of the NIR range (2200nm – 2500nm) is a region where optical fibers can absorb. Standard LOH fibers are not ideal.  You can switch to free beam, use short as possible fibers, or purchase our chalcogenide fibers for the mid IR.

Tech Tip  Using a 10 um slit can improve resolution, especially for measuring the wavelength of NIR lasers.
