FT Fiber Sensor Dip Coated with Embedded thermistor

Fiber Optic sensors consist of a 1000um fiber, polished at 45 degrees and coated with one of 3 chemistries. A, our most popular, is for general purpose in gases and in aqueous solutions. A chemistry and exhibits zero drift.  HCR is for use in hydrocarbons, and MR is for use in applications where faster rsponse is required, or immunity to moisture is desired.

A thermistor is embedded in the 7" long stainless steel ferrule. The thermistor cable in integrated with the sensor. The thermistor lead is 5' long. Extensions or longer leads are available on request.

 The sensor has an SMA fiber connector at the proximal end. A bifurcated fiber assembly (SEOX-BB-1000) is required.

Probes are factor calibrated 0 - 20.9% O2 in gas and 10 - 40C temperature range. Broader ranges or calibrations in specific solvents are available at an additional charge.

These probes are designed to work with NEOFOX or NEOFOX-SPORT electronics but should work fine in other phase fluorometer type systems.

 There are 4 options for overcoats to the sensor material. Choose the desired overcoat when ordering:

None - This will give the fastest response.

BA - Black acrylic - keeps out ambient light, slows response

BMS - Black silicone - keeps out ambient light, also resists biofouling

W - white reflective coating increases the signal and signal to noise, slows respons

Best general purpose probe, longer fluorescence decay yields more resolution, zero drift means stable calibrations

Used for organic solvents and gases with organic vapors.  This sensor does respond to water vapor as well as O2

General purpose but with faster response rate than AP chemistry. Does exhibit long term photo-bleaching drift and has less resolution.
